Uyuni Salt Flats
Salar de Uyuni is with its 10,582 square kilometers the largest salt flat in the world. It is located in the southwest of Bolivia at around 3,650 meters above sea level. Most people do not want to miss out on this part of Bolivia when travelling through Peru.
The Salt Flats is the breeding ground for several species of flamingos. Furthermore, it is one of the major transport routes across the Bolivian Altiplano. We offer a one day trip to the world’s biggest mirror.
You can easily visit La Paz via Puno (6h drive) or via Cusco (11h drive). Buses from La Paz to Uyuni depart around 10 p.m. and arrive the next day around 7 a.m. It is also possible to book a flight to La Paz or directly to Uyuni. We would be glad to assist you if you have some questions about the transport to Uyuni!
We offer a one day trip to the world’s biggest mirror. We pick you up from Uyuni bus station or Uyuni airport. The tour starts around 10 a.m. and it ends around 7 p.m. Groups are around 7 people. This tour is not a hike like our other tours, since all places that we visit are reached by transport.
